Ahead of Sunday's Week 7 game against the Minnesota Vikings, theIndianapolis Colts have ruled three players out and four others questionable.
CB Sauce Gardner (calf), TE Tyler Warren (groin), and WR Anthony Gould (concussion) are all out. For more on the impact of those absences, you can find that here.
Questionable for this matchup are LB CJ Allen (ankle), LB Bryce Boettcher (groin), P Rigoberto Sanchez (foot), and CB Justin Walley (knee).
Allen appeared on the injury report on Thursday and then did not practice on Friday. Boettcher was a non-participant on Friday as well. Potentially without these two, the Colts' linebacker depth would be hampered. As a result, we could see Germaine Pratt elevated from the practice squad.
With Jaylon Carlies back,
the Colts will have their starters at linebacker between him and Akeem Davis-Gaither.
Sanchez's injury occurred in Sunday's loss on the blocked punt. As insurance at this position, the Colts signed veteran Thomas Morstead to the practice squad.
Walley was limited the final two days after not practicing on Wednesday. If he can't go, we could see Kapena Gushiken in the slot, with Cam Taylor-Britt likely starting outside in Gardner's absence.
