Former Indianapolis Coltskicker Blake Grupe will now be kicking for the LA Rams.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Rams are releasing Harrison Mevis and signing Grupe off the New York Jets' practice squad.
This move for the Rams comes after Mevis' game-winning kick against the Bills was blocked. Mevis was also just 5-for-9 on field goal attempts this season.
The #Rams are moving on from K Harrison Mevis, per me and @MikeGarafolo, as coach Sean McVay authors a special teams shakeup.

Grupe was released by the Colts during roster cutdowns after losing the kicking competition to Spencer Shrader. While Grupe was often steady in training camp practices, he struggled during preseason
games.
After being released, Grupe was claimed on waivers by the Jets.
Grupe joined the Colts during the latter portion of the 2025 season, with Shrader on IR and Michael Badgley struggling. From Week 14 through the end of the year, Grupe was a perfect 10-for-10 on field goal attempts and 11-for-11 on extra points.
