Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones has cleared nearly every hurdle in his return from a torn Achilles tendon.
The final test will come under game conditions.
Jones offered a positive update Thursday when asked about his health ahead of the Colts' Sept. 13 opener against the Baltimore Ravens.
“Yeah, I’m 100%,” Jones said, via WTHR’s Dominic Miranda.
“Completed each phase of the process. Last part is playing in a game, full-speed contact game. But I feel like I’ve simulated all of that stuff with the exception of the hits.”

Jones tore his Achilles in Indianapolis' Week 14 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars last December,
ending a career-best 2025 season in which he completed 68% of his passes for 3,101 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
His recovery progressed steadily throughout the offseason.
Jones returned to throwing in the spring, advanced to 7-on-7 work during OTAs and received full clearance before training camp. Teammate Josh Downs said in July that Jones looked so comfortable during offseason throwing sessions that he briefly “forgot he had gotten injured.”
Jones didn't take a snap during the Colts' three preseason games, leaving the regular-season opener as his first opportunity to absorb live contact since the injury.
