After examining the Indianapolis Colts' final injury report for Week 2, where do the Kansas City Chiefs stand health-wise entering this game?
On Friday afternoon, theChiefs listed DB Chamarri Conner (knee) and OT Josh Simmons (back) as out, while DT Chris Jones (calf) and CB Mansoor Delane (shoulder) are questionable.
Jones is a seven-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro. He has the ability to greatly impact a game from the defensive tackle position.
He did play last week against Denver "under similar circumstances," as John Dillon of Chiefs Wire put it. Dillon also noted that if Jones can't go, Khyiris Tonga, Peter Woods, and Bryson Eason will be the top defensive tackle options.
Delane sustained his injury in the Week 1 game. Of note,
he was a full participant on Wednesday and Thursday before being limited in Friday's practice. If Delane can't go, Nohl Williams and Jadon Canady will fill in.
Simmons will miss his second consecutive game. Without him last week, rookie Kahlil Benson played left tackle for the Chiefs. Conner did not play in Week 1.
