Indianapolis Colts coach Shane Steichen will see a friendly face across the field Sunday when his team visits the Pittsburgh Steelers.
That face is ex-Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr., who will take on Indianapolis for the first time since being traded to Pittsburgh in March.
Steichen made clear Wednesday that there's still a lot of respect between the two sides.
“More than anything, I’m looking forward to seeing him pregame, saying hello to him,” Steichen said, via WISH-TV.

The Colts’ website also noted that Steichen emphasized the “immense respect” he has for Pittman while discussing the Week 5 matchup.
Pittman spent his first six NFL seasons in Indianapolis after the Colts selected him in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft. He appeared in 95 games with 86 starts, totaling 485 receptions for 5,254 yards and 25 touchdowns.
Indianapolis traded Pittman and a seventh-round pick to Pittsburgh for a sixth-round pick during the offseason. The Steelers then signed him to a three-year, $59 million extension.
Pittman has seven catches for 89 yards through three games this season. He will now get his first shot at his former team when the 2-2 squads meet at 1 p.m. ET Sunday at Acrisure Stadium.
