The Indianapolis Colts are among the teams doing the "due diligence" on Arizona Cardinals' wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. ahead of next month's NFL trade deadline.
In a report from ESPN, sources told Stephen Holder and Josh Weinfuss that the Cardinals are "not shopping" Harrison. However, other teams -- including the Colts -- are doing their due diligence.
A source also told ESPN that the Colts "would entertain" the idea of trading for Harrison.

Adding Harrison to the mix makes sense on paper for the Colts. For one, his dad --
Marvin Harrison Sr. -- is a Hall of Famer and Colts legend.
Indianapolis also needs help at the receiver position with Alec Pierce on IR. In Pierce's absence, the Colts' offense has struggled to generate explosive plays, which, in turn, has made moving the ball on short-to-intermediate throws more challenging as well.
That said, two potential hurdles for the Colts -- if Harrison does actually end up becoming available -- include the team's relative lack of 2027 draft capital and whether or not it makes sense for the GM who is on the hot seat to be giving up future draft picks.
The trade speculation around Harrison comes after an up-and-down start to his NFL career. The former fourth overall pick has caught just 54% of his career passes and, under new head coach Mike LaFleur, he has just 12 targets and five receptions over four games.
