The Indianapolis Colts were back on the practice field Wednesday in preparation for their Week 5 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and back in action was wide receiver Keenan Allen.
Allen did not play in this past Sunday's game due to a groin injury. After initially being listed as questionable on Friday, he was downgraded to out on Saturday.

After a typical rest day on Wednesday, Allen appeared on the Thursday injury report with a groin injury and was listed as a limited participant. On Friday, he did not practice.
When the Wednesday injury report is released, we will learn in what capacity Allen practiced.
Allen was coming off his best performance as a member of the Colts. In Indianapolis'
Week 3 win over Houston, Allen caught 6-of-9 targets for 63 yards with his first touchdown reception of the season. On the season, Allen has caught 13 passes for 100 yards and a score.
In the Colts' win over the Commanders, the wide receivers combined for just 93 receiving yards. Laquon Treadwell led the way with 42 yards.
