The Indianapolis Coltshad a trade package from the New York Giants for running back Jonathan Taylor, but that offer is now "off the table," according to Jay Glazer, unless the asking price comes down.
Per Glazer, it was a second- and fifth-round pick that the Giants had offered.
"Here's a little scoopage for you," Glazer said, "the Giants had offered a second-round pick and a fifth-round pick for Jonathan Taylor, that was a couple weeks ago, now that offer is off the table. So unless the Colts come down for it, I don't see that happening for Jonathan Taylor, and I don't think they have as much interest as they initially thought."

Based on Albert Breer'sreporting, the Giants' offer wasn't what the Colts have been looking to land for Taylor. According to Breer, the Colts are either searching for a first-round pick in return for Taylor or a Christian McCaffrey-like deal, when the 49ers sent 2023 second-, third-, and fourth-round picks, and a 2024 fifth-rounder to the Panthers.
And while the Colts have been listening to offers for Taylor, as Ian Rapoport reported, the Colts don't feel like they have to move Taylor and are willing to build around him moving forward.
The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 10, and the reported plan is that the Colts will revisit offers in the coming days following the Dallas game, according to Jordan Schultz.
