What is the story about?

TheIndianapolis Colts improved to 2-2 on the season after a win on Sunday in London over the Washington Commanders.

However, despite the victory and current win streak, the Colts still dropped in several Week 5 power rankings, in part, due to the struggles of Daniel Jones and the passing game.

Here is where the Colts land in our latest power ranking roundup.

Nate Davis, USA Today: #23 (+1)

"Maybe they should pack the Mayflower trucks (ships?) for Europe given they've won three in a row in the Old World, which the NFL seems ready to make its new frontier. Heck, the Colts are already better at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium than the EPL Spurs."

Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: #22 (-2)

"At 2-2, they have righted things after opening 0-2. They wised up in the victory over the Commanders and gave the ball to Jonathan Taylor."

Conor Orr, SI.com: #17 (-2)

"I don’t really care what happens to this iteration of the Colts, but following the Sauce Gardner trade last year, literally the only sensible follow-up is to continue pouring resources into this team and trading for Colts legacy son Marvin Harrison Jr."

Ralph Vacchiano, Fox Sports: #18 (-1)

"QB Daniel Jones has turned into a turnover machine (seven so far this season) and the Colts are thin at WR with Alec Pierce out, which makes you wonder why Shane Steichen won’t lean more on RB Jonathan Taylor. When he does, the Colts’ offense looks good. And they are an overtime FG away from being 3-1 this season. So they’re a playoff contender, but how much longer can they thrive if Jones keeps making big mistakes?"

ESPN: #22 (+1)

"The Colts have managed to get to .500 with consecutive wins, but there are so many questions about their viability as playoff contenders. The defense has played better but hasn't faced a major test in the past two weeks after getting exposed in the opening two weeks. And on offense, only the Vikings are averaging fewer yards per play than the Colts (4.5). Sunday's win somehow produced 30 points despite QB Daniel Jones posting his lowest passing total in a full game since joining the Colts last season (143)."

Frank Schwab, Yahoo! Sports: #22 (-3)

"The Colts might have been lucky that the Commanders played most of Sunday's game in London with a third-string rookie quarterback. They did not play well. Daniel Jones' struggles are a real issue. He is 27th among 32 NFL quarterbacks in EPA per play. He is generating -0.065 EPA per play this season. His mark last season was 0.220, which was seventh among all QBs with at least 100 snaps. On Sunday, Jones had just 143 yards against one of the NFL's worst secondaries. He also had an interception and a lost fumble."

Brent Sobleski, Bleacher Report: #23 (no change)

"Shane Steichen's squad isn't close to where it was before last season's second-half collapse. Quarterback Daniel Jones was a huge part of that early success. He's been part of the problem to start this season despite the two-game winning streak."
