Former Colts LB Zaire Franklin makes Packers' debut
Franklin would end up playing 65 defensive snaps in Week 1. He recorded on quarterback pressure, according to PFF, and logged five total tackles, which included two stops.
As a coverage defender, Franklin allowed three receptions on four targets, giving up a modest 8.7 yards per reception.
Without Franklin, the Colts turned to Akeem Davis-Gaither and Jaylon Carlies at linebacker, with Bryce Boettcher being
rotated in as well. Safety Cam Bynum wore the green dot.
Franklin was a seventh-round pick by the Colts in 2018, spending his first eight NFL seasons in Indianapolis.
