The Baltimore Ravens cruised past the Indianapolis Colts in the team's 2026 regular-season opener.
Let's take a look back at Sunday's performance with Indianapolis' studs and duds.
Stud: Jonathan Taylor
It wasn't perfect -- Taylor did have a fumble, but he was one of the few bright spots for the Colts in this game. Taylor finished the game with 98 rushing yards on just 19 attempts with two rushing touchdowns. Baltimore was able to contain him early, but that often only lasts for so long.
Dud: Lou Anarumo
The Colts' defense had zero answers for Baltimore for much of the game. Both on the ground and through the air, the Ravens were able to generate explosive plays, averaging over 8.0 yards per play -- a massive amount. For some context, last season, the LA Rams' offense led the NFL in this
category, averaging 6.1 yards per play. Lamar Jackson was efficient and also averaged a whopping 13.0 yards per play. Derrick Henry averaged nearly 6.0 yards per rush while running for 135 yards. The Ravens finished the game with 506 total yards on offense.
Stud: Colts' offensive line unit
As mentioned, Taylor had a good day on the ground, which included averaging 5.2 yards per attempt. The offensive line unit also surrendered just six total pressures over 140 combined pass-blocking snaps.
Dud: Colts' secondary
This unit was supposed to be a strength of this Colts' team. But on Sunday, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens' pass game picked that unit apart. Jackson threw for 324 yards on just 17 completions. Zay Flowers totaled 150 receiving yards on five receptions. If the Colts' secondary doesn't play at a high level, it's going to be tough sledding for this defense that has pass rush questions.
