TheIndianapolis Colts have activated tight end Will Mallory from injured reserve.
His questionable designation has been removed as well, and he will be available for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.
Mallory returned to practice recently after missing the first four games of the season on IR. He was placed there prior to the regular season with a thumb injury.
Mallory had put together a strong showing over the summer, regularly flashing in practice, while making six receptions for 80 yards in just one preseason game.
His presence will add a pass-catching threat to the tight end position to pair with Tyler Warren. Mallory's role through his first three seasons has been relatively small, but he appeared poised for more opportunities prior
to his injury.
Mallory joins Tyler Warren, Mo Alie-Cox, Drew Ogltree, and Pharaoh Brown at the tight end position on the 53-man roster.
We have activated TE Will Mallory from the IR list and his questionable designation has been lifted for #TENvsIND.
