The Indianapolis Colts have made it official, announcing that they claimed defensive back Kapena Gushiken off waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles.
He will now be added to the 53-man roster.
However, to make room for Gushiken, a corresponding roster cut had to be made. The team also announced that they released offensive tackle Luke Tenuta.

Tenuta was expected to be the Colts' swing tackle after moving on from Blake Freeland during roster cutdowns. However, now Bernhard Raimann and Jalen Travis are the only tackles on the current 53-man roster.
At the moment, the next man up might be Matt Goncalves, who would have to move from right guard to tackle if needed.
With only eight offensive linemen on the roster, one would hope that GM Chris Ballard will be making another move to bolster the depth of that unit.
Over 53 pass-blocking snaps in two preseason games this summer, Tenuta allowed two quarterback pressures and no sacks, per PFF.
