The Indianapolis Colts signed wide receiver Keenan Allen to a one-year deal, and Spotrac now has the details of that contract.
Allen will earn a $1.3 million base salary and a $1.51 million signing bonus -- both of which are fully guaranteed for a total of $2.81 million. Allen can also earn a total roster bonus of $510,000, banking $30,000 for every game he is active this season.
His cap hit for the 2026 season is $3.32 million.
This is, however, an incentive-heavy deal for Allen. The max value of this contract is $8.32 million, allowing Allen to earn an additional $5 million based on production. What those metrics are has not been reported.
Keenan Allen's fit with the Colts
Allen will step into the WR3 role, lining up opposite of Alec Pierce. Since Michael Pittman was traded earlier
in the year, the WR3 position was one of the bigger question marks on this Colts team.
The addition of Allen will provide a reliable presence to fill that role. He's a proven high-volume target who can be a go-to option when needed in the short to intermediate parts of the field. Situationally, third downs and in the red zone are where he can flourish.
