Quenton Nelson believes theIndianapolis Colts' running game should be producing more than it has.
Sunday's 34-22 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers pointed to the source of the veteran guard's frustration. Indianapolis finished with 66 rushing yards and averaged 2.8 yards per attempt.
“I feel like we're capable of so much more than what we have been doing,” Nelson said in a postgame video shared by WISH-TV

Jonathan Taylor finished with 45 yards on 15 carries, an average of 3.0 yards per attempt. His longest run went for
20 yards, leaving him with 25 yards across his other 14 carries.
The lack of consistent production put more of the workload on Daniel Jones, who attempted 44 passes as the Colts tried to keep pace with Pittsburgh.
Indianapolis' only touchdown came on a 1-yard run by tight end Tyler Warren. Otherwise, the offense relied on five Spencer Shrader field goals to account for its scoring.
A more dependable running game would help the Colts avoid difficult third downs and give the offense alternatives as it approaches the end zone.
After falling to 2-3, Indianapolis needs that improvement to show up to save their season from heading too far south.
