Could the Indianapolis Colts be a potential landing spot for Arizona Cardinals' wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.?
On Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that teams are "doing their due diligence" on Harrison. Initially, Schefter said that the Cardinals aren't "enthralled" with trading Harrison, but he then added that "it would not be a surprise" either if that is how things played out.
This speculation comes after an inconsistent start to Harrison's NFL career. The former fourth overall pick has caught just 54% of his career passes and, under new head coach Mike LaFleur, he has just 12 targets and five receptions over four games.
Fast forward to Monday, and while appearing on the Pat McAfee Show, Schefter was asked if the Colts were one of the teams
calling on Harrison.
"Wouldn't that make a lot of sense?" said Schefter.
So that wasn't specifically a yes from Schefter, but it wasn't a no either.

On paper, adding Harrison Jr. to the mix makes sense. For one, his dad -- Marvin Harrison Sr. -- is a Colts legend. Indianapolis also needs help at the receiver position.
That said, having your GM, who is on the hot seat and in a win-now situation, trading away future high-end draft capital -- something Chris Ballard already did last year when acquiring Sauce Gardner -- seems like bad business.
There is still over a month to go before the Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline is here.
