The touchdown, which gave the Colts a 7-6 lead, was their first score of the game after their first five drives ended with a lost fumble by quarterback Daniel Jones, an interception by Jones, and three punts.
This scoring drive by the Colts began with very good field position after the fourth-down stop by the defense. It was also extended by a Washington penalty. Running back Seth McGowan played
a key role in picking up yards as well.
With halftime near, the Colts are averaging just 3.5 yards per play as an offense.
