The Indianapolis Colts moved the ball Sunday, but too many scoring opportunities ended with their kicker taking the field.
Quarterback Daniel Jones acknowledged the cost after Indianapolis' 34-22 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, mentioning the offense's struggles in the red zone.
“Obviously that was a big factor in the game... We can't afford to do that,” Jones said in a postgame video shared by WISH-TV

The Colts finished 1-for-3 in the red zone. Spencer Shrader made five field goals, including three after halftime, while Indianapolis scored
only one touchdown.
That touchdown came on Tyler Warren's 1-yard run in the second quarter. The Colts produced nine points in the second half, all on Shrader field goals.
Jones completed 24 of 44 passes for 267 yards without a touchdown or interception. Avoiding turnovers helped Indianapolis supply itself with chances, but the offense struggled to turn those into enough points.
The Colts also converted just four of 15 third downs, notching an extra obstacle to sustaining drives and reaching the end zone.
Indianapolis fell to 2-3 despite finishing with 332 total yards.
In the end, Jones' viewpoint harps on the big issue that the Colts need better execution near the goal line to make those drives count.
