The Indianapolis Colts are listing six players as inactive for their Week 1 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.
On game days, teams are permitted to have only 48 players active.
Colts inactives v. Ravens in Week 1
- LB Austin Ajiake
- G Dalton Tucker
- CB Johnathan Edwards
- RB DJ Giddens
- DE George Gumbs
- QB Riley Leonard
Ajiake was ruled out on Saturday due to a hamstring injury that popped up during the week.
Tucker is the second guard option off the bench behind Jalen Farmer.
At defensive end, getting six players snaps is not realistic. The Colts may have went with Caden Curry over Gumbs because of special teams contributions.
While the Colts roster three QBs, the third has often been inactive on Sundays. Giddens is RB3 behind Seth McGowan.
The Colts are going with Kenneth Harris over Edwards. At least from a coverage standpoint, Harris had the better preseason. He will provide depth.
