The Indianapolis Colts announced that they have signed wide receiver Mecole Hardman and punter Thomas Morstead to the practice squad.
To make room, the team released wide receiver Eli Pancol.
Hardman is a former second-round pick in 2019 and has Super Bowl experience from his time in Kansas City. He will provide needed speed and depth at the receiver position for the Colts and is someone who can also help out in the return game.

We have also released WR Eli Pancol from the practice squad.
For his career, Hardman has caught 206 passes at 12.6 yards per catch with 20 touchdowns. He has one career kick return touchdown and one career punt return touchdown as well.
The
addition of Morstead comes as Rigoberto Sanchez is working through a foot injury that he suffered on Sunday during the blocked punt.
Sanchez's status for this week's game is still unknown, but Morestead at least provides some insurance if he's unable to go.
