The Indianapolis Colts now know exactly which quarterback they will see Sunday against the Washington Commanders.
Washington officially ruled out Jayden Daniels with a dislocated left elbow on Friday, clearing the way for Marcus Mariota to make his second consecutive start.
Colts safety Cam Bynum believes Mariota’s experience makes him a difficult opposing QB.
“Just knowing that he’s a veteran. He’s seen a lot of football,” Bynum said, via James Boyd of The Athletic. “So, we have to be ready for everything. He can command the offense really well. And just knowing that he’s also a dual-threat.”

Mariota showed what that experience can produce last week. The 32-year-old completed 19 of 31 passes for 183 yards and three touchdowns as Washington knocked off the Seattle Seahawks 33-31. He also helped the Commanders move the chains with his legs late in the game.
Indianapolis has experience dealing with mobile quarterbacks after opening the season against Lamar Jackson. Containing Mariota will require discipline from all three levels of the defense.
Bynum has started all three games this season and recorded 18 tackles.
The Colts and Commanders meet Sunday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
