Indianapolis Colts' rookie safety AJ Haulcy was back on the practice field on Wednesday as the team prepares for its Week 1 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.
Haulcy, the Colts' third-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft, has been sidelined in recent weeks, dealing with an ankle injury.

On Monday, head coach Shane Steichen said that the team would give Haulcy the week before determining his status for Sunday's game.
Haulcy spent the offseason and training camp competing with Hunter Wohler for the strong safety role alongside of Cam Bynum. Haulcy seemed to be the front-runner for those snaps until the ankle injury sidelined him.
For what it's worth, on the Colts' first
unofficial depth chart, he is listed as the starting strong safety.
Coming out of LSU, Haulcy brings added versatility and impressive ball skills to the Colts' secondary.
