The Indianapolis Colts now have their eye on the future after trading away Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner. However, reports continue to suggest that trading Jonathan Taylor isn't expected to be a part of the rebuild process.
"This is one they do not really want to trade," said Ian Rapoport. "I know he's close with owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon. They believe he is part of the rebuild."
That said, teams are still going to try to pry Taylor away.
"That doesn't mean that teams won't be calling," Rapoport added. "In fact, I expect several teams to continue to pursue Jonathan Taylor. Then it's just a matter of, just like it was with the Titans and Jeffery Simmons, can someone get to a price to force the Colts to trade Taylor? That is the biggest question
over the next two weeks."

Although Taylor just signed a two-year, $44 million contract extension prior to the season, thecontract is movable if needed.
Taylor continues to be one of the most productive backs in football, totaling 587 yards with eight rushing touchdowns. He doesn't have a 100-yard game this season, but has hit the 90-yard mark in five of eight games.
