The Indianapolis Colts held their final training camp practice on Thursday, and from the sounds of it, it was a very disruptive day for defensive tackle Colby Wooden.
The Colts acquired Wooden early in the offseason in a trade with Green Bay that sent Zaire Franklin to the Packers.
According to Joel Erickson of the Indy Star, Wooden recorded two "sacks" and looked "disruptive throughout the practice."
This preseason, Wooden has generated five total tackles, three run stops, and a quarterback pressure across 46 total snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
He brings a versatile presence to the Colts' defensive front, able to line up in multiple gaps, and is a player who can impact both the run and passing games.
While DeForest Buckner and Grover Stewart
will lead the way at defensive tackle, Wooden will be a key member of that rotation this season.
