The Indianapolis Colts are now "open" to trading running back Jonathan Taylor, according to Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport.
On Saturday, Schefter and Rapoport said that trade talks were "ongoing and active."
Tom Pelissero also reported on Saturday that the Colts have turned down a trade package that included a 2027 second-round pick plus an additional selection, making it clear that they want a "premium" if they're going to move on from Taylor.
So what might the Colts be looking for in return for Taylor?
Schefter says that the Colts are seeking a Christian McCaffrey-like trade package. In 2022, the San Francisco 49ers acquired McCaffrey from the Carolina Panthers for second-, third-, fourth-, and fifth-round picks.

Taylor continues to be one of the most productive backs in football, totaling 587 yards with eight rushing touchdowns.
He doesn't have a 100-yard game this season, but has hit the 90-yard mark in five of seven games.
