Blackmon struggled during the Colts' two preseason games. Over 32 coverage snaps, he allowed six receptions on seven targets for 74 yards. He had no ball production and was penalized four times as well.
Beyond Blackmon's play, the depth of the Colts' cornerback unit as a whole has been brought into question this preseason.
The Colts acquired Blackmon in a trade with the Minnesota Vikings prior to the 2025 season. He would go on to appear in 17 games, making 11 starts, while playing over 700 defensive snaps.
