The Indianapolis Coltsannounced on Tuesday that they signed defensive tackle Adetomiwa Adebawore to a contract extension.
This is a two-year deal worth $35 million and includes a $13 million signing bonus and $22.5 million in new money.
Up to this point in the season, Adebawore ranks tied for 25th among all defensive tackles in quarterback pressures, and he is fifth among his position group in PFF's pass-rush win rate, showcasing his ability to beat the blocker across from him at a high rate.
Originally set to be a free agent after this season, Adebawore is now under contract through the 2028 season.

Even for a Colts team that has begun tearing things down as they eye a rebuild, extending Adebawore should have been an easy decision. Adebawore has put
together a breakout season and is doing so at a position where it's not easy to find highly productive pass rushers. He has shown that he has that potential.
The contract itself also isn't going to hinder how the Colts go about the 2027 or 2028 offseasons.
