In the Indianapolis Colts' Week 9 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, wide receiver Josh Downs had two dropped passes and totaled just 24 receiving yards.
This performance came less than two weeks after Downs requested a trade.
"I stunk today," Downs said afterward, via The Athletic's James Boyd. "That's the game of football sometimes. I didn't catch those passes when I should have, and that's that."

In Downs' two games post-trade request, he's caught seven passes
on 11 targets but for only 47 yards with a touchdown.
"I practiced well this week," Downs added. "I was catching balls all week, playing hard. I wasn't distracted, but like I said, I just stunk today."
The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 10, but Downs said that's not what his focus is on right now.
“I’m not worried about that right now," said Downs. "I got some things I gotta fix …”

Schefter and Rapoport add that the Colts were initially looking for a third-round pick in return for Downs.
