Following the Indianapolis Colts' 42-7 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, head coach Shane Steichen said that everything would be evaluated, including the quarterback position.
By Monday, Steichen already had his answer -- he will be sticking with Daniel Jones.
"I feel that Daniel (Jones) gives us the best chance to win right now," Steichen said, via The Athletic's James Boyd.

This season, Jones has struggled with turnovers, throwing nine interceptions while also losing a few fumbles. He's also completed just 60% of his passes and is averaging only 5.8 yards per pass attempt, well below last season's figure of 8.1 yards per throw.
That said, there hasn't been a lot of help around Jones this season either, although the team was certainly expecting more from him when they signed him to this deal in the offseason.
“It goes back to the preparation and the command he has of the offense," Steichen said of starting Jones, via Boyd. ..."You want to have accountability, but like I said, I feel in this situation that he gives us the best chance to win.”

With the Colts down big in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game, Anthony Richardson took over. He completed both pass attempts for eight yards and ran for four yards as well.
"Overall, it was solid for the few amount of plays he was in," said Steichen, via Boyd.
Up next for the 2-6 Colts is a matchup at home against the Dallas Cowboys.
