The Indianapolis Colts announced a pair of roster movesat wide receiver following Sunday's training camp practice.
The team has signed a familiar face in DJ Montgomery and waived Liam Clifford as the corresponding move.
Montgomery was with the Colts from 2022 to 2025, often on the practice squad. During his time with the team, he caught six passes for 92 yards and a touchdown in 10 appearances, according to the team site.
Last season, Montgomery was placed on the injured reserve list, where he spent the entire year, following aninjuryin August.
He has also spent time with Houston, the New York Jets, and the Cleveland Browns.
This maneuver at the receiver position comes as the Colts are dealing with injuries. Alec Pierce, Josh Downs, and Laquon Treadwell
did not practice on Sunday.
Clifford was a recent addition made by Indianapolis. He went undrafted this past April out of Penn State.
