The Indianapolis Colts are moving on from offensive tackle Blake Freeland during roster cutdowns, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Freeland was competing with Luke Tenuta for the swing tackle role off the bench this summer. However, over 102 pass-blocking snaps, Freeland surrendered seven pressures, according to PFF. Out of 114 eligible tackles, he ranked 63rd in pass-blocking efficiency.

Freeland spent last season on injured reserve after suffering a leg injury during the preseason. In 2024, he provided depth off the bench, appearing in two games. As a rookie, he played 701 snaps in 2023.
Freeland was a fourth-round pick by the Colts in the 2023 NFL draft.
He was the 107th overall selection.
The tackle depth for the Colts entering the 2026 season is very much in question.
