The Indianapolis Colts are being viewed as one of the NFL’s potential value teams going into the 2026 season.
In his team-by-team betting guide, ESPN’s Tyler Fulghum called Indianapolis “another team that feels undervalued in the market” and recommended three Colts wagers: over 7.5 wins at -140, making the playoffs at +170 and Jonathan Taylor to win Offensive Player of the Year at 22-1.
Fulghum pointed back to the Colts’ strong start last season before quarterback Daniel Jones was injured. Indianapolis opened 8-2 and owned the NFL’s best offense through 10 games before injuries helped trigger a seven-game losing streak and an 8-9 finish.
The critical downfall revolved around Jones suffering a season-ending torn Achilles in Week 14, but for this
season, optimism specifically extends to Taylor. The Colts running back led the NFL with 323 carries, 20 total touchdowns and 18 rushing scores in 2025 while finishing third with 1,585 rushing yards. Indianapolis signed him to a contract extension earlier in August.
A playoff bet at +170 requires Indianapolis to rebound from last year’s collapse, but Fulghum’s outlook suggests the betting market may be pricing too much of that late-season slide into expectations for 2026.
