Next up on the to-do list for Indianapolis Colts' general manager Chris Ballard is assembling the practice squad.
While conversations are already being had, that process will officially begin after 1:00 PM ET on Monday, oncewaiver claimshave been submitted.
The practice squad consists of 16 players, although some teams will have 17 if they utilize the International Pathway Player (IPP) exemption.
Up to six players on the practice squad can have unlimited accrued NFL experience. A maximum of 10 players can have no more than 2-plus accrued seasons.
Many of the players signed to the Colts' practice squadwill be those who were on the training camp roster, but chances are some outside additions will be made as well.
