The Indianapolis Colts announced a pair of roster moves on Tuesday heading into Week 5.
The Colts have signed wide receiver Quez Watkins to the practice squad and released cornerback Elijah Culp as the corresponding move.
Watkins is a former draft pick, selected in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles
. Listed at 6-0, 193 pounds, Watkins has appeared in 49 games and made 25 starts. In his career, he's caught 104 passes for 1,304 yards with six touchdowns. The bulk of his snaps have come from the slot, but he has experience lining up outside as well.
Watkins, however, hasn't played an offensive snap since the 2023 season. He has also spent time with Arizona and Pittsburgh.
The addition of Watkins boosts the Colts' wide
receiver depth. At this moment, Alec Pierce remains on IR, while Keenan Allen did not play in London due to a groin injury. Darius Slayton is yet to make his Colts debut as well.
