As the NFL trade deadline nears, all eyes are on Indianapolis Colts' running back Jonathan Taylor.
However, what if the Colts don't end up trading him?
Apparently, at least as of now, that's still a possibility, according to The Ringer's Tom Pelissero.
On Saturday, in Pelissero's weekly column, he noted that the most likely landing spot for Taylor is sticking with the Colts.
"Three days before the NFL trade deadline, the most likely destination for Colts RB Jonathan Taylor is … staying in Indianapolis," Pelissero posted on X. "And only the type of blockbuster offer no team has made could pry him out."

Ian Rapoport has echoed similar sentiments. He recently said that the Colts don't feel like they have to move Taylor and are willing to build around him moving forward.
Of course, Taylor is drawing interest, but with a deal not yet done, the Colts haven't received the offer that they are looking for.
According to SI's Albert Breer, the Colts are either searching for a first-round pick in return for Taylor or a Christian McCaffrey-like deal, when the 49ers sent 2023 second-, third-, and fourth-round picks, and a 2024 fifth-rounder to the Panthers.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that "the belief around the league is that, barring an offer that blows them away, Indianapolis plans to wait until after Sunday’s game vs. the Cowboys before revisiting the offers on the table."
