Indianapolis Colts'wide receiver Alec Pierce has exited the team's first-half game against the Kansas City Chiefs with an injury.
After limping off the field, Pierce had to be helped into the blue medical tent. He has not returned to the game and was seen on the broadcast being carted to the locker room.
Pierce is currently questionable to return with a heel injury. We will update this article as new reports come in.
Pierce underwent offseason ankle/heel surgery, which sidelined him through much of training camp. It has not been confirmed whether or not the two injuries are related.
Pierce has spent the last few weeks ramping up but did play in the season opener against Baltimore. He was on the field for 32 of the Colts' 54 offensive snaps in that
game, and said earlier in the week that he expected to take on a larger role against the Chiefs.
Over the last two seasons, Pierce has led the NFL in yards per catch. He eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards in 2025.
This offseason, Pierce signed a four-year, $114 million deal to return to the Colts in free agency.
