With theIndianapolis Colts selling ahead of the NFL trade deadline, wide receiver Josh Downs has been mentioned as a possible trade candidate.
On Wednesday, Downs was asked about the idea of a potential trade.
"Like I said, I'm open to whatever," Downs said, via Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan. "Whatever comes my way comes my way, and we go from there."

Downs was then asked if he would have preferred to sign a contract extension before the start of this season.
"I mean, if it came my way, it came my way, but like I wouldn't say that," he said.
Downs is still on his rookie deal but is in a contract year. As the Colts turn their attention to the future, getting
something in return for Downs, if the team has no intention of re-signing him, rather than letting him walk in free agency, could be appealing.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that "WR-needy teams have called the Colts" about Downs.
A third-round pick by the Colts in 2023, Downs has been a reliable and productive target from the slot in the Indianapolis offense.
