Social media rumbled with opinions as the UCLA Bruins earned their first Big Ten Conference win of the 2026 season against the Purdue Boilermakers in a 52-38 rout at the Rose Bowl Stadium.
UCLA started the Bob Chesney era with a 3-0 record and a conference win as they played with grit and determination to outlast Purdue in a shootout in Pasadena, Calif. Here is some of what was being said on Twitter throughout the game as defense appeared to be mostly optional.
