For 23 seasons, LeBron James has been the gold standard in the NBA. Arguably the greatest player to ever play this game, James now heads to the Philadelphia 76ers as he prepares for an unprecedented 24th season in the league. One doesn't make it this far without work ethic and the mental toughness to keep going and keep working.
After averaging 20.9 points, 7.2 assists, and 6.1 rebounds in year 23 with the Los Angeles Lakers, James is back in the gym preparing for what's to come. The Sixers are a team that hasn't been past Round 2 since 2001 and hasn't won a title since 1983. This is also a team that has a lot of new pieces, which means there will be a lot of work to do in terms of chemistry and cohesion.
No matter what the challenges, James appears
to be ready and prepared for what 2026-27 will throw at him.
James will see some familiar faces in Philadelphia as he and Tyrese Maxey work out together regularly, and there are some former teammates as well with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope joining him in the City of Brotherly Love. James also played with Joel Embiid on Team USA when the Americans won the gold medal in 2024.
