Allen Iverson is a legend in the city of Philadelphia. The things he was able to do for the 76ers has allowed him to do whatever he wants and nobody will blink an eye. Because he's Allen Iverson.
Iverson won MVP in 2001 as he led Philadelphia to its last finals appearance and led the league in scoring four times. He was an 11-time All-Star, a 3-time steals champion, and a member of both the NBA's 75th anniversary team and the Hall of Fame. He averaged 26.7 points and 6.2 assists across his 14 years in the league for the Sixers, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, and Memphis Grizzlies.
When Iverson returned to Philadelphia in the 2009-10 season, he certainly made an impression Thaddeus Young who was in his third season in the league at that time:
When he showed back up his first day, his locker was right next to mine in the practice facility. So, he comes in, all his (expletive) is all over my locker. I look at him, he looks at me like, ‘What, punk (expletive) (expletive)?’ I’m like, ‘You know what? I’ll sit over here. This is your locker room, champ! You got it, big dog. Like, it’s nothing I can do or say. Another day, he came in, well, one, he had this old ass iPod. At this point, iPod’s had been touch screen. He got the one with the little spin on and the only thing he has on his iPod is all Michael Jackson songs. That’s all he listens to is Michael Jackson songs. That’s it. He comes in listening to his Michael Jackson. He got his big jeans on, but he has the nerve to have on some Superman drawls over it. Like, some Superman bloomers over it. At that point, I knew he could do no wrong.

Iverson certainly made his presence felt with the Sixers as he is one of the franchise legends. Young was a solid player during his time in the City of Brotherly Love, but obviously, Iverson is a living legend.
