PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers will look to remain unbeaten on Sunday night when they play host to a fellow unbeaten team in the form of the Detroit Pistons. The Sixers will have to do so while being short-handed as they are a bit thin at the moment.
On the second night of a back-to-back, the Sixers will be without Joel Embiid after he played in Saturday's win over the Milwaukee Bucks to start this set. Along with Embiid, the Sixers will be missing Jabari Walker, Dominick Barlow, Tacko Fall, Ariel Hukporti, and now will be missing VJ Edgecombe.
After being thrown on the injury report as questionable due to an abdominal contusion, Edgecombe has been downgraded to out for this matchup.
"I don't know if you remember in the game last night
he took that knee to right in that area," Nurse stated. "Yeah, he obviously played through the game and all that kind of stuff. Just very sore today."

With Edgecombe out, the Sixers will likely turn to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in an effort to replace when he brings to the floor. In place of Embiid, they will rely on Dean Wade and LeBron James.
