The Philadelphia 76ers will open the preseason on Monday night when they play host to the defending champion New York Knicks and there will be a lot of anticipation surrounding them. Obviously, this is a supremely talented team that will be in contention for an NBA title and the Sixers will want everybody to prepare for the challenges to come.
In order to prep for when the real games start, the Sixers are going to have a number of players sit out against the Knicks, including a certain No. 23.
LeBron James, Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid, Anfernee Simons, Dominick Barlow, and Adem Bona will all sit out against the Knicks on Monday. It makes sense when considering it's the preseason and the team did have a hard shootaround that morning at their facility
in Camden, NJ.
