It's ranking season in the NBA as the offseason continues into late July with August set to begin on the calendar. The Philadelphia 76ers have had some fantastic players come through and represent the franchise and the city as they made their mark on the organization with some terrific play.
Hal Greer, the franchise's all-time leading scorer with 21,586 points, is one of the underrated players of his era. Greer spent 15 seasons with the franchise between it starting as the Syracuse Nationals and then moving with the team to Philadelphia and became a franchise legend. He was a 10-time All-Star and was named All-Star MVP in 1968. He led the Sixers to a championship, alongside Wilt Chamberlain, of course, in 1967 and has his number hanging from
the rafters at the Xfinity Mobile Arena.

One of the best and underrated guards of the 1960s, Hal Greer was an All-Star 10 times that decade and an All-NBA 2nd Teamer seven times, helping lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a championship in 1966-67 alongside Chamberlain in what was one of the most slept-on guard-big duos in league history.
Greer averaged 19.2 points for his career and he did without the benefits of the 3-point line. He was a pure scorer and was able to give the Sixers a big advantage whenever he was on the floor. He finished sixth in MVP voting in 1964, with the award ultimately going to Oscar Robertson. His ranking on this list and the acknowledgement he received is a sign of respect to his game.
