With the 2026-27 NBA season quickly approaching, everybody is getting ready for what's to come. Players are getting their final workouts done, fans are getting ready to watch their favorite players again, and then there are those getting ready for fantasy basketball.
Much like fantasy football, fans select players, the players then produce on the floor, and the team with the most productive roster wins. It's another way for fans to stay engaged throughout the course of a long 82-game season.
NBA.com produced its top 150 fantasy players headed into the new season and Philadelphia 76ers star LeBron James comes in ranked No. 53 on the list:

James is still a stat stuffer as he averaged 20.9 points, 7.2 assists, and 6.1 rebounds along with 1.2 steals and 0.6 blocks per game. Therefore, fantasy-wise, James is still producing. However, when considering he is going to turn 42 in December, one has to believe there will be a lot of load management and his role is still in question with Philadelphia having so many high-usage players. Coach Nick Nurse and Co. will have to figure out the math problem in the coming season.
