Danny Green spent a successful 15 seasons in the league as he won three championships with three different teams. He helped the San Antonio Spurs win in 2014, the Toronto Raptors in 2019, and the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020 due to his ability to knock down open 3s and play strong team defense.
Green spent 2-plus seasons as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers and he filled a role around Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons at the time. The veteran from North Carolina shot 40.5% from deep in the 2020-21 season for the Sixers as he helped Philadelphia earn the No. 1 seed in the East. He then shot 38% in the 2021-22 season. He played two games for the Sixers in the 2023-24 season.

When you hear the term "three-and-D," Danny Green should be one of the very first names that comes to mind. Despite being picked over halfway through the second round of his draft and not finding a real role until his third season, Green became one of the ultimate examples of this archetype.
The defensive side of the equation is a discussion for another slideshow, but Green finished his career shooting exactly 40.0 percent from deep. And almost two-thirds of his career shot attempts were triples.
All in all, Green shot 39.5% from deep in 133 career games for the Sixers as he played a big role in Philadelphia finding success on the offensive end of the floor. He will always be remembered as somebody who can knock down open looks from beyond the arc with ease.
