With the 2026-27 NBA season quickly approaching, everybody is getting ready for what's to come. Players are getting their final workouts done, fans are getting ready to watch their favorite players again, and then there are those getting ready for fantasy basketball.
Much like fantasy football, fans select players, the players then produce on the floor, and the team with the most productive roster wins. It's another way for fans to stay engaged throughout the course of a long 82-game season.
NBA.com produced its top 150 fantasy players headed into the new season and Philadelphia 76ers guard VJ Edgecombe comes in ranked No. 85 on the list:

leap unlikely, but the category contributions don’t require one.
Edgecombe averaged 16.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists as a rookie and will look to make a big sophomore leap in the upcoming season. The Sixers, obviously, have their eyes on winning a championship with the big additions made to the roster. The development and growth of Edgecombe will certainly play a role in whatever success they have on the floor.
