The Philadelphia 76ers have been the clear winners of the offseason with the big additions made such as Jaylen Brown and LeBron James to the roster. The Sixers acquired Brown in a trade from the Boston Celtics while James then signed to a 2-year $8 million deal in free agency as Philadelphia positions itself for another run at a title.
James joining the Sixers gives Philadelphia one of the strongest starting lineups in the history of the league. James, Brown, Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid, and VJ Edgecombe is talented from top to bottom and there aren't many weaknesses to that point with this lineup.
Hall of Famer and 2011 champion Jason Kidd gave his thoughts on James joining the Sixers:
It automatically puts Philly in the talks of winning a championship.
They could be the best team in the East. That’s just him at the age of 42. He still has that power. So, it's just a credit to him, but also, to, I think Philly, because they do have a young backcourt that’s very exciting to watch in Maxey and VJ. I think they’re the team that’s the move.

James has been working out with Maxey and Brown as he continues to build chemistry with his new teammates. As the future Hall of Famer continues his brilliant career, he will look to add another championship to his already impressive resume. If he can help the Sixers win their first title since 1983, it would be a big boost to his legacy.
