The Philadelphia 76ers have had a solid start to the 2026-27 season as they are sitting at 3-1 on the season. They spoiled ring night for the New York Knicks as they went into Madison Square Garden and earned a win and then rallied from 29 points down to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in their home opener.
Tyrese Maxey is off to a terrific start as he's averaging 28.8 points along with 4.8 assists and 4.0 rebounds as he adjusts to playing next to LeBron James and Jaylen Brown. He has been terrific on both ends of the floor and the Sixers have benefited from his strong play on the season.
For his work, Maxey has earned the Eastern Conference Player of the Week award. Over in the West, the award has been won by Memphis Grizzlies guard Ty Jerome.
