The Philadelphia 76ers will convene for training camp on Tuesday to begin preparation for the 2026-27 season. This is a brand new roster with so many new pieces being brought in over the summer in an effort to chase down the Larry O'Brien trophy and camp will be super important to get everybody on the same page.
One of those new faces is Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, a 13-year veteran from Georgia who spent the previous two seasons with the Orlando Magic and the Memphis Grizzlies, respectively. He averaged 8.4 points, 2.7 assists, and 2.5 rebounds while shooting 41% from the floor and 31.6% from deep in the 2025-26 season in Memphis.
As the Sixers get ready for camp, Caldwell-Pope posted a video of himself back in the gym as he preps for the challenges
to come in the upcoming season.
A proven veteran and a 2-time champion, the addition of Caldwell-Pope should prove invaluable to the Sixers as they make another run to the mountaintop in the league. Philadelphia hasn't won a title since 1983 and hasn't been past Round 2 since 2001.
