The rich get richer in MLB. The 2-time defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers made a huge move late on Saturday night when they acquired 2-time reigning AL Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal from the Detroit Tigers. The Dodgers will now be adding yet another ace to their rotation in their quest to win a third straight World Series title.
Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is an avid baseball fan as he has attended a number of Phillies games over at Citizens Bank Park and has voiced his opinion on Twitter. He took to the social media app to react to the Dodgers acquiring Skubal as he had the same reaction that a lot of people had over the blockbuster move.

Skubal will now headline a Dodgers rotation along with Shohei
Ohtani and 2025 World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Obviously, LA will be the favorites to 3-peat when the baseball playoffs roll around in October.
As for Embiid, he will be looking to help the Sixers get to the mountaintop in the NBA in 2027 with the help of Jaylen Brown and LeBron James alongside him.
